The group Starfire from Richmond VA released at least three albums between 1976 and 1984 although many tracks were duplicated across all three releases. Comprising of a mixture of group soul ballads , midpacers and some funky tracks the best of being "Almost insane" and "Make the most of it". The next album from the group surfaced in the early 1980s and featured two tracks from the above album the tracks in question being "Make the most of it" and one of the funky cuts. A third album from the mid 80s appears to have been made up of tracks from the first two albums.
Anyone know if there is a connection between this group and a 7" single by "The Starfire and Atkiens Allstars" ?
