TSG records had a number of releases during the mid 1970s and the Spice album has to be my favourite as far as soul albums go. This album has great dance cuts and ballads with some great male group vocals. Most of the tracks were either written or co written by Rodney Brown but there is no indication as to who the group members were. This album has been collectable in Japan for many years but never really picked up on here in the UK. The cuts that really stand out for me are "The last time" which is a driving uptempo catchy dance record and "Fool in love" being a ballad that builds and builds with some great vocals.
Who were Spice and where are they now? Anyone know!
